Hawksbill sea turtles on the beach

Just when I think of leaving, El Nido gives me a reason to stay. In this case, El Nido gave me 50 reasons.

Hawksbill sea turtle hatchling on the beach. Maybe he's waiting for the right wave.

  1. Hello, May I ask or do you know where can stay in El Nido? Reasonable price and clean and safe? We are 3 adults. Thank you so much! A

    1. It really depends on what you mean by “reasonable”. If you can afford it, I’ll always say that El Nido Resorts in Miniloc and Lagen islands is the way to go. For Miniloc, the rate already includes all buffet meals, all activities (except diving and rock climbing), and an experienced guide. Since Miniloc is inside the bay already (as compared to coming from El Nido town), you save on travel time between the islands so you get to maximize your whole day activities.

If you’re staying in town, some places I’m okay with are:
Blessed Inn – fan room, 2 people/room, no generator, not beachfront (P500/night)
Ipil Lodge – aircon room, 2 people/room (though you might be able to negotiate), no generator, not beachfront (P1,000-P1,500 per night)

Say it now!
